Remodeling my 1984 Kohler bathroom and replacing my Kohler whirlpool from that era which has integrated grab bars in the tub. We purchased this tub over a traditional jetted tub because these were supposed to stay clean since only air flows through the Jets. However, despite pushing the air out after every use the air supply vents get very slimy and gross pushing the slime out into your bath when you want to run the air. It comes in a crate and its 300 pounds so beware. I paid for the delivery service and it was no problem although the men visibly struggled to get it into my bedroom. My master is on the first floor. I couldnt imagine trying to get it up an interior stairway. Ive read some other reviews that complain of it not retaining heat. My experience is the opposite. I originally ordered the k5718 h2 and was discontinued by the time by builder went to order it and this is a disappointing replacement. First the specs indicate is it basically the same model, which misled me into letting builder get it. But it’s not, there not control panel to manage heat and massage flow. Both tubs had the drain in middle and on this model it’s a push down to close type of drain, so has u move around in tub, the drain pops open,,,very very poor design. We love our tub! It's comfortable, the jets are great, and sturdy. I wanted to specifically note that we installed a bi-fold glass partition door with the tub. On one of the sites this tub is listed, someone said that was impossible but we pressed ahead suspecting it wasn't the case. And as you can see in the picture, we were correct. It looks great!.
