Beautiful Sink, But Too Large for My Wet Bar This is a beautiful, well-made sink, and I really liked the granite-composite construction, along with the included sink grid and basket strainer. Unfortunately, the 14" x 18" dimensions were still too large for my wet bar countertop and did not leave me with enough usable counter space for food preparation and entertaining. The issue wasn’t the quality or appearance of the sink—it simply wasn’t the right size for my particular space. I needed a smaller footprint that would allow me to maintain enough countertop area around the sink. If you have the space, I think this could be a great choice. For my wet bar, however, the proportions just didn’t work, so I ultimately had to return it. Sometimes the right product is simply the wrong fit for the room—and that was the case here.. Kimberly. The on-line purchasing process was amazingly fast and easy. The shipping experience was also fantastic, the package arrived w/in the expected window and was received in perfect condition. We had the sink professionally installed as the install required some granite cutting and grinding for a proper fit. The finished product is just what we were looking for, a clean modern look. The sink surface is easily cleaned with warm soap and water. To prevent scratches, we purchased two silicon bottom mats and they actually look pretty good. I’ve been looking for composite sinks with workstation and accessories but also wanted to get a known brand, unfortunately Ruvati doesn’t make on size, bigger sizes do have it. Tapping on it sounds like plastic due to resin, it doesn’t feel like it’s made out of stone. Also it came with slightly discolored areas, not too visible but they are there. The drain is made out of black plastic, for this price I wish it was metal and had color options to match my faucet which is bronze. They have it but have to purchase separately. I thought it’d be heavier but it’s not, again probably because of the amount of resin vs quartz used.
