The diagram of the screen states it's 380.70 inches wide, which is obviously wrong, so we went with the written description, which states the screen is 31 inches wide. It's actually much wider. I guess the 380.70 inches was supposed to be 38.70 inches? Doesn't fit our fireplace. A bit annoying that Wayfair is not providing a full refund. I have to pay to ship the item back. Constructed with a heavy-duty metal frame with powder coating, it is sturdy and rust-resistant. Other than that, you can also mount it on the wall by the wall mounting hardware for extra stability.

We ordered this to keep our toddler away from our fireplace throughout the winter. It has worked great! It is tall enough that I don't worry about him being able to lean over it. The panels lock into place so he isn't able to push them inwards, which is something I was originally worried about. We secured it to the wall, but had to place some wood spacers between the wall and the gate because the baseboard did not allow it to sit flush with the wall. It was a minor adjustment, but something most people will probably run into.
