The parts were simply to put together. I downloaded the app to connect it to wifi and so that I could control it from my phone. It all took just a few minutes. The instructions were simple enough to understand from rinsing it to adding water and using it. So glad I bought this! My house is super dry in the summer months and this humidifier keeps it comfortable and breathable. It doesn't come with a remote.
