Great product so far. And aesthetically, the most minimal and elegant dehumidifier I could find. Took about 24 hours to dehumidify our piano room and get it to the humidity level I set it to (from 55% to 45%). It's not the most quiet appliance, but it is very effective and isn't in our main living space, so it's perfect for us. So far the manual setting works pretty well. I set it to 45% and it automatically turns on and off to keep the humidity level around there. I have a hygrometer near the piano that tracks humidity level and it's staying very steady since getting this dehumidifier. I'm also I glad I got the one with wi-fi connection. You can control everything through the app– turn the dehumidifier on/off; change the modes between Auto, "Dry" (the manual mode), Quiet, Fan, and Continuous; and fan speed. This has been mostly a set-it-and-forget-it appliance for us, but it's nice that we have access via the app if needed. Because I enjoy being lazy. Highly recommend.. Lia V.. Thu May 14 2026

The Frigidaire 22 Pint dehumidifier is ideal for basements with a small space design

Originally I saw this dehumidifier months ago, but I made a huge mistake and bought another brand. This humidifier is really compact, doesn’t make too much noise, very effective in removing humidity in my boiler room.. Maksim. Kiamesha Lake, NY. Tue Jan 20 2026

Shinco SDZ1-80P, a powerful dehumidifier, removes up to 80 pints of damaging moisture per day in spaces measuring up to 5,000 square feet, thus taking the damp feeling out and leaving your home more comfortable and healthier, suitable for home, basements, bathrooms, bedroom, kitchen, office, RV, garage, etc... It can help remove the moisture effectively and keep the environment dry and comfortable, giving you a great experience after using this dehumidifier for your home. Shinco SDZ1-80P dehumidifier will play an important role in improving your indoor air quality.

This lil dehumidifier is working great so far! I unboxed it, put it on the landing of my stairs so it could dehumidify my upstairs which is like an attic but it’s two bedrooms and a bath. Maybe 450 sq ft and my down stairs is 750 sq ft. Total1200 sq ft. This lil guy had casters so you can roll it around but on carpet a lil harder to do. It’s heavy so rolling it is best. Comes with a manual but honestly it’s self explanatory. It works with an online SmartLife app once you get that set up you change settings through the app not on the unit itself. I took photos of the app to show all the settings but if you don’t want the app you can change settings on the unit manually. It’s one or the other can’t change settings on unit if it’s on your WiFi app which I think is odd Dumping the water is easy just pull out the reservoir pick it up by the handle and take it first where you want to dump water, because it could spill out if you remove the lid first. To remove the lid is simple it has a small arm you push down on and the lid pops open, just take out off lid, dump water, put lid back in place and push down and it snaps into place. Push the reservoir back into unit till it’s secure and turn unit back on. Always turn unit off before removing the reservoir to dump water. I set mine on 35 so far I’ve dumped it 3 times in 24 hours it holds quite a bit of water. I can’t believe how much humidity was in this house. There’s a drain tube included as well.. Annette. US. Got this for my small unoccupied RV (an 80’s Minnie Winnie) and it pulled the excess water out of the air easily. Very wet summer in north Virginia and haven’t gotten to fixing the broken window hinges and other sealing issues on this project yet. Placed the dehumid on a storage tub next to the shower for the proper height. The gravity drain and included tube work perfectly. Now a month after purchase, it continues to maintain a RH% right around 50 where I preset it. It’s small, quiet, perfect for this size space. Works efficiently and no issues yet. At first I went to check it daily for leaks, then weekly, but all is working and draining as it should. At this point I can ‘set it and forget it’. Happy with my purchase.. Jennifer. Virginia. Runs quietly, works great for the space above our garage where we store items. We live in the woods without a lot of direct sun, so it’s damp. This unit does a good job of keeping the smell in a decent sized cedar garage to a minimum. My only issue was the delivery - the box was left sitting in the rain versus on our porch.. Beth. US. Great size Dehumidifier. I love the handle that lifts the entire unit. Especially since it will be another option to transporting from room to room. We have pretty high pile carpets and I'm not sure how well the tires will work when moving from space to space. I want to use this in the largest space in my home based on the square ft listed. We'll see how well it works. I'll update once the humidity starts getting higher here.. Teresa. Chester, VA. Mon Apr 06 2026
