Indoor-outdoor mold and fungus-resistant Clear stain. Use as a shower bench, stool, or shower chair, or use outdoors or indoors. Great for extra seating as well as storage and display. Very sturdy design. These shower benches have received kudos from healthy young adults, as well as those who need a little extra support, mobility, and safety in the shower. Ergonomic research has shown that providing arms can increase the efficiency of sitting and standing several-fold. Research has further shown that using the arms to resist or lift the body can reduce the strain on hips, joints, knees, and muscles exponentially. Transitioning from standing to sitting is one of the most common tasks they do every day and also one of the most strenuous and physically demanding. Add water and slippery shower surfaces, you will enjoy the added safety and protection of having support arms provided to you. This is the first and only teak shower chair that provides these types of ergonomic and mobility benefits typically found in white plastic medical shower chairs. But their shower benches are attractive and modern and will complement the most modern of bathrooms, as well as luxurious while providing the same benefits as medical shower chairs. They have developed a coating process that both protects the wood and brings out the natural grains and colors of the teak wood. Some assembly is required, but all tools and hardware are provided, as well as complete instructions and assembly diagrams.

Beautiful solid teak wood shower bench! It shipped quickly and very well packaged! Assembly was very easy and quick! It has rubber feet that keeps it from sliding and it’s a heavy solid bench. It is replacing another bench that was not nearly as heavy or solid as this one! My old bench was easy to tip over, this one does not! I love the color and it adds warmth to my black and white bathroom. I especially like that it has a shelf for extra storage in the shower. Excellent price for a quality product.. Lisa.
