Amazing ladder. We needed a ladder to be able to reach the awkward 1990’s-style “dust ledge” above the front door so that we could actually utilize it, rather than leaving it as an empty space to collect dust. All of the ladder kits we found were very pricey and l couldn’t confirm if the stained colors would match the honey oak colors we have already. So I found this bare ladder kit, which I stained to the color we wanted, then assembled and installed it. It is very sturdy and easy to use. It tucks in close to the wall when not in use. Now we are able to utilize that space above our door with real plants, and legos. I saw some reviews about how it doesn’t take stain properly. As a DIY’er with no wood staining experience other than YouTube University,I had no issues staining it. I did have to stain it twice as the color I picked first was completely wrong. So I stripped and stained it again. No issues. 1010 would recommend this ladder kit.. Jordan. Portland, OR. Mon Nov 02 2026

Perfect for my walk in closet! Aesthetically, I love it however, it’s very slippery and I have to be careful coming down from the first step because the panels are a bit narrow. Overall, beautifiul and (cautiously) functional.. B.. Tacoma, WA. Sat Oct 31 2026

Sliding ladder makes upper storage accessible, which can be widely used in library, kitchen, pantry, office, workshop, display room. Exquisite craftsmanship with sturdy wood and light weight aluminum material and superb quality anti-slip and anti-corrosion unique brake mechaism transformed the room into a warm living and working space. This eye-catching foldable telescopic and removable hook system can make the ladder vertically stored when not in use and and can be removed from this rail to that one. What a beautiful renovation! Why not add a Latest Fashional Red Oak Removable Hook Sliding Wood Rolling Ladder System into your brilliant life?

This is a gorgeous ladder, and well-made. It has hooks at the top and slides smoothly along the rail. It can be extended for use, then stored upright. The natural color is pretty but could be stained if you wanted to. It’s sturdy, even with just one brake locked. The ladder was easy to put together—I recommend loosely fastening all the pieces into place first, then strategically tighten all screws to secure. The rail was also easy to install. The part that attaches to the wall can slide to where you need it, then tightened. We removed one bracket, used a laser level to mark the holes and pre-drill them on the bookshelf, then loosened all the brackets so we could slide them into place to secure. The hardware itself is solid, but the provided screws were cheap. We replaced them with some better screws and had no problems after that. The directions are lacking, but not hard to figure out. The height of the rail is a bit flexible because of the hook mechanism, so that was convenient. (You do need to have a drill bit for getting through the wood itself to install the hooks.). Betsy. I used this for a few years my stool into a very tall bed, and as my makeup "station" where I kept all my makeup inside, and used it as a sitting stool while I did makeup. The lid lever screws would loosen over time and I have to reattach them, not stripped though. A little bit of damage from when the level would come loose as I close the lid and it would catch on the side of the stool. All in all, sturdy for what it was and I think if you were not opening the lid a few times daily like me, you'd have no problem with the lid loosening over time.. Michelle. Flagstaff, AZ.
