They are sticky, but for the edge, you can use some contact glue on the underlayer to enhance it. Besides flooring, it can be applied to the wall as an accent wall, ceiling, or cabinet by adding extra glue (liquid nail/contact glue).

As others have said these tiles aren’t as white as you might think but the muted color works well so dirt doesn’t show as easily. These tiles also cut easily with scissors or utility knife and they are flexible to bend around corners to cut right on the floor, there are arrows on the back to go in one direction easy to reposition also. Its very good for both color and quality. The board is not thick and soft, but it more good for stick to under layer, like wood and concrete floors.
