It’s my first few days using it so far so good. I bought it with the intention of using it for next summer so the price was just right. Who would have known that we would have a 100 degree weather for a week and would have to use it now.. Humberto. Sat Oct 03 2026

This 14,000 BTU portable air conditioner efficiently cools up to 750 sq. ft. with 3-in-1 cooling, fan, and dehumidifier modes, three fan speeds, and a wide temperature range, featuring a lightweight, portable design, low-noise, energy-efficient operation, and quick, tool-free window installation for flexible and convenient comfort in any space.

Chills well! I'm using it to cool about 700sq ft and we are COMFORTABLE! I keep my indoor temp 76-78F in the summer usually but my old unit was dying out, so I replaced it with this one. It's a very hot climate here, and this unit is having NO trouble maintaining 76F in here while it's been 94-97F. It's maintaining 74 in the 270 sq ft around it easily. If my space wasn't segmented by a doorway, I believe it would maintain about 74F in this amount of space (again, about 700sq ft).. just for knowledge to anyone considering buying this unit. It's easy to install, very easy. Just be warned that if you have a window sill on the window you'll be installing it in, you'll need to get foam weather strip (wide/thick) to put beneath the window insert and thinner foam (the type with adhesive) to put on top of the install (between window insert and window). Even if you have no window sill, I still recommend the thinner weatherstrip (type with adhesive) on top of the window insert to seal out drafts. ONE COMPLAINT: There is not a strong enough connection between the duct tip and the insert. You WILL need to find a way to reinforce it or it WILL disconnect after you install and try to even just slightly move the unit. I suggest just gluing it with your choice of adhesive after plugging the duct tip into the window insert. IT HAS LATCHES BUT THEY ARE INSUFFICIENT. Overall great unit with a lot of features!. Jay. I recently purchased an AC unit, and overall, I’m very satisfied with its performance. It cools the room quickly and efficiently, and I truly feel that it’s worth every penny. The unit is reliable and delivers exactly what I expected in terms of functionality and comfort. The only minor drawback is that it’s a bit louder than I anticipated. While it’s not unbearable, the sound is noticeable, especially in quieter moments. Despite that, the cooling power and quality make it a great purchase, and I would still recommend it to others looking for a dependable AC unit.. Natasa. US. Tue Sep 22 2026

Except that it got shorted out and I didn't have insurance on it so now I'll have to buy another one but it will be a minute since I'm still paying on the AC.. Myra. North Charleston, SC. Wed Aug 12 2026

This U-shaped inverter window AC delivers ultra-quiet 32dB operation by placing the compressor outside while keeping full window light and views. With 12000 BTU (ASHRAE) cooling, ±1°F accuracy, 4 fan speeds and 4-way airflow, it efficiently cools medium to large rooms. The inverter design saves up to 37% energy with a $61 estimated yearly cost. It supports smart app, voice, remote and touch control, offers 6 modes, and fits standard windows with included accessories. Complete with safety locks, timer and washable filter for easy, reliable home cooling.

Quietest air condition ever. I was holding my breath when I ordered this AC for a sliding glass window in our sunroom(about 350 sq ft) that was 19.25" wide (one side). Yes, we had to remove one side of the slider and install a panel above the unit. The AC fit almost perfectly and the install was easy. (They even provide little custom cut foam pieces for the top of the unitbto go between the unit and the side filler pieces). We let it set for 24 hours, as suggested in several text messages. Plugged it in and turned it on. It ran thru it's system check and started cooling. It wasn't a ghastly hot day so the temp in the room was in the mid 80s. Within 10-15 quiet minutes, the sunroom was a very pleasant 80° on it's way to 75°. When I used on a ghastly hot day, the sunporch temp was 94. It took it about 30 min to get room to a tolerable 84 with fan on low. When I increased the fan speed, it got down to 80 quickly. When you turn it on it automatically sets to 75. SO QUIET - both inside and out. The buttons and readout on the front are large and intuitive. I'll keep the instructions handy because any function other than cooling isn't intuitive. So far, all we have used is the AC, and we couldn't be more pleased. My only suggestion would be to make the bridge adjustable like on some of the other AC's that don't have the inverter technology. (We bought this unit specifically because we wanted the newer inverter technology.) It has adjustable "feet" on the outside to hold the AC in place. Because the house has vinyl siding, we put a board between the "feet" and the siding to prevent damage to the siding (especially when the temps drop.) We would buy this unit again without hesitation.. Jana. Louisville, KY. Sun Sep 13 2026

The LG Dual Inverter air conditioners are the best in cooling innovation. This ultra quiet unit operates at 44 dB in sleep mode, almost as quiet as a library. In addition, the DUAL Inverter technology allows the unit to operate efficiently saving you as much as 25% on energy costs. Cool your home from anywhere using LG ThinQ technology to control your air conditioner with your phone or use with Amazon Alexa and Hey Google to have control with the sound of your voice. 4 cooling and fan speeds and a 24 hour timer allow you to create a cooling schedule to suit your needs. 4-way air deflection lets the flow of air be directed where it's needed most whether cooling, dehumidifying or just circulating air. If there is a power outage, the auto restart feature will automatically turn your unit back on when power is restored. Other features include an LCD remote control, easy window installation kit, removable (washable) filter and a check filter alert.

Installed today to replace another brand that worked well, but we wanted the LG dual inverter that was so highly praised by Consumer Reports. We opted for the version without the Smart features as we simply don’t need them. The new unit is so wonderful as to be almost be unbelievable. Whisper quiet even on the highest setting, sleek design, a breeze to install, and with 10000 btu it’s enough to cool much of our 1450 square foot cottage. Love, love, love it!!!. Soooo Cool. Vermont.
