This tile is really beautiful and of great quality. Out of 8 boxes purchased, only one tile was chipped out of the box which I thought was amazing. My only complaint is that the tiles are VERY porous and easily stained and scuffed. It is a matte finish cement tile which we hadn't worked with before. It generated a ton of dust when cut. The wet saw used more water than usual with this tile and the dust turned to mud. We installed it in a bathroom and decided to seal it right away because as I mentioned, it stains easily. I can't imagine putting this tile in a kitchen as shown online due to the porous factor. Despite the easy stain and scuff issues, we do love the end result. The sintering of select minerals and fusing of the sintered crystals through high temperature on to a porcelain backing creates a tile with zero porosity. This ensures it will never require sealing and is completely stain proof. You're left with the timeless luxury of White Thassos, without any of the maintenance headaches. This minimalist design can be used in any room anywhere, for both floors and walls.

BEFORE I begin, you MUST be WARNED that each box contains 10 tiles, which is 7.28sq ft, NOT the 14.56 sq ft per box as advertised. Wayfair eventually (after about 2.5 weeks) refunded me half the cost of each box, but they still haven’t corrected how it is advertised online. Okay: now for my review, which otherwise would have been 5 stars: The advertised photos for this tile don’t nearly do it justice. It’s gorgeous! However, it is quite thick, so you might go through more than one diamond blade cutting it. It also has unfinished edges, with only a few mm along the top of each side that is finished, so a thick schluter is a must. Ours is 12mm. The tile is completely impermeable and stain proof (our contractor used sharpie to draw cut lines on the tiles and it wiped right off with just water). It arrives packed well without chips or broken tiles. It can scratch but it doesn’t scratch easily at all and even if scratched, it’s hard to see it.
