We loved that it was so simple to get the counter, taps, sinks and p-traps in one complete package. We decided not to put the marble backsplash on the vanity because the bath won’t see as much use—that was just a design preference. In future, we may install it. My family ribs me endlessly over my precious sink! It was shipped in the Arc of the Covenant. We had to use an engine hoist outfitted with a support bar to move the piece into position. It came with brackets and parts to hang on the wall, but at 400 pounds, the wall would have had to have been designed with this in mind. Instead, I did a Frankenstein bit to a thrift store oak kitchen table. We built a box out from the wall for plumbing access. Still working on getting the correct pipes and equipment, but I will have my sink eventually! Note for those looking: PLAN! It's ridiculously heavy, but oh so pretty. If you have a competent plumber, this is an easy install (pipe placement matters with these exposed p-traps/water lines). We loved that it was so simple to get the counter, taps, sinks and p-traps in one complete package. We decided not to put the marble backsplash on the vanity because the bath won’t see as much use—that was just a design preference. In future, we may install it.
