Only used one time so far I think overall it will be great you must hold the the pilot light down for 5 or 6 minutes, at least to get it to light up. For me, the installation was a lot harder than I thought it would be. The unit I have is propane. Time will tell, but overall, I think its going to be great for heating up my small cabin. What a nice unit! It was easy to install. The control knob was stuck at first but I was patient and tapped it lightly and jiggled it and just like that it, started to function properly. This unit came from China so I figure the control knob was jammed due to shipping such a great distance to Kentucky. I love the black with the blue flame. It heats great. No problemo. This was a great addition to my sunroom to replace my older 10K btu model that couldn’t keep up with the extreme colder temps (20°Fs and below). This space is not heated so my Mr. Heater acts as the primary source. I only have to turn the setting to 3 to heat the room and then down to 2. The thermostat does a good job shutting the unit on and off as needed. Expensive but I got exactly what I was hoping for -- a relatively quiet unit that quickly heats the room.
