Perfect for what I was looking for. Looks very durable and work well on our balcony. Very easy to install. Peel and stick tiles. The color is exactly as it appears in the picture. Darker is better if you have small pets as a lighter color will show more of the foot traffic. I gave 4 stars verses 5 because I would have preferred it a bit thicker but then again you must consider the weather conditions and how long it will take to dry if it rains or depending on where you live harsh winter weather. These are neat, we bought them to create a cat space on our ledged windows. They have a plastic bottom that will make them easy to assemble and connect outside or for flooring. However, the way these are made, they do not work for what we desired. We ended up using a green carpet tile.
