The 60x30” classic American style solid surface freestanding resin stone soaking tub exceeded my expectations. I was shopping for a client who requested specific interior dimensions on the tub—and this beautiful, high-quality soaking tub matched her desired parameters. The finish on the tub is matte, not shiny like an acrylic or glazed cast tub. It looks like white stone. Wayfair delivered the item in great packaging, crated in a wooden box with plenty of wrapping inside. The tub arrrived with no damage, and was installed without issue. Moving this tub is not for the faint of heart—it weighs in at more than 300 pounds, and it took three grown men to move it—so plan on help to set it in its permanent location. THIS tub replaced one of those horrible, huge, tubs with all the jets that builders put in homes in the 1990s. I gutted my master bath and more than doubled the size of my shower, and had this beauty installed. I wish I had considered the placement of the freestanding water faucet while the plumber was in the deep hole he had to dig to move pipes around....I placed the tub with the little lip under the faucet so some water splatters on the wall.......that was MY mistake so just a suggestion for when you put your tub in. I am used to one of the type tubs that goes in a corner with wall on 3 sides..........long and low. THIS is short and deep. Perfect soaking tub. I am 5'1 so I actually can sit and extend my legs straight out but anyone taller will have their knees up. Even so, a little water comes up on your body giving you an amazing soak. This is so luxurious! I couldn’t have picked better! I was making a wet room. While it is a large bathroom, the size of the wet room was not huge. I really liked the idea of a freestanding tub, and came across this beauty. And because it has the straight side, you don’t have to clean behind it. As you can see, it is easy to get to the sides and the floor and walls for cleaning. It is so deep and wide, I’m glad I purchased an in-line hot water heater. When I sit straight up in it, the water comes almost to my armpits. I am only 5’1”. The sides are perfectly slanted. Because of my height, I have difficulty lying in it without bracing my feet. I can lay my head back and just float! Some other tubs I considered didn’t have nearly the depth and holding capacity. Obviously, I highly recommend! The price was reasonable as well. The tub is gorgeous. Make sure you use mild detergent to clean like dishwashing liquid. I used soft scrub comet and it took forever to get the lighter color film residue off. It comes in a crate and its 300 pounds so beware. I paid for the delivery service and it was no problem although the men visibly struggled to get it into my bedroom. My master is on the first floor. I couldnt imagine trying to get it up an interior stairway. Ive read some other reviews that complain of it not retaining heat. My experience is the opposite. This tub is very large and deep. The drain is high enough to get completely covered and it is long enough to lay all the way back. The material is some kind of stone so it is very heavy to move and get in place. This also gives it a cool stone feel when you’re in it.
