Overall, it is adequate. It feels hefty, so Im confident it will stand on its own without randomly tipping over. However, the gold finish is spotty, and I will have to spray paint it to make it look better. Looking at the picture, you can see the mesh especially is very unevenly colored.

Totally beautiful -- surprisingly heavy (some reviews say it's flimsy--I promise you it's anything but). It's **not** a bright shining gold, but that is why I got it. It's more burnished gold, or brass. Absolutely lovely. Cannot beat the price! Would unconditionally recommend--but do make sure you want a mellow understated metal and not yellow and shiny.

This firescreen was terrible quality and an inferior product. I will never order from Wayfair again. The screen hinges are cheap and do not set straight and we are dissatisfied with the paint job. Hidden in the specs it is labeled as distressed. Nothing in the title or descriptions lists it as distressed. Clearly the company puts that in the specs so they can sell a poorly painted item as "distressed". Overall, a disappointment and dealing with your return department has been ridiculous. So you win I will pay to return this unsightly screen which then you will turn around and resell under this same misinformation in the description. All buyers beware avoid this vendor.

I had a new one delivered in terrible condition and the replacement they sent was even worse. DO not recommend

Very poor quality. Paint was rubbed off a large portion of the item and comes off when simply rubbing the screen

Do not buy this product. I received it and it looked like someone dragged it behind a van for a few miles before shipping it to me. I even asked for a new one and the replacement was equally as disappointing. It is not gold (more like the gold was painted on many years ago, but has wiped off over time) and looks more brass with silver. Also, the pattern is different than the pictures and you can see the welds where the bars were attached. Very poor quality for the price.
