These are SO cute and were perfect for my small bedroom. These are one of my favorite purchases from Wayfair so far. They were an easy bedroom addition without needing an electrician. My house was older with a small scale. The downward light provided warmth (used frosted warm bulb) for nighttime reading. They give an upscale vintage look (almost art-deco(ish). They are high quality and solid. I changed my furniture knobs and bedroom fixtures to match the metal tone of the lamps which added softness and cohesiveness without drawing any particular attention to the subtleties. It made my otherwise basic and small bedroom feel special with a low price tag. I was worried about the asymmetrical cord movementplacement so I stuck a computer cord organizer (holder) to the wall behind my nightstand so the plug-in cord stayed perpendicular to the ground. I added another near the baseboard that guided the cord (parallel) to the outlet behind my bed because I had a little open wall space between my nightstand and bed. Love these sconces so far! Perfect design for the spot and such an upgrade to the old ones I had. Easy to install. The fixtures have aluminum wiring and my light boxes have copper, but I do not think it is a problem since they are indoors. The picture does not do the lighting justice! It looks really nice. I am in the process of getting a dimmer switch for them because it would be nice to be able to dim them, due to them being in my living room, in case we want a more cozy vibe.
