About This Product

This is the original, the one that’s set the standard for all Fireclay farmhouse sinks with the classic apron front design. The Lancaster™ is made by hand in the same way since 1897 and is still in use today in 100-year-old English homes. Named for the county of Lancashire, the region where Shaws® sinks are made, the Lancaster has thicker walls and a lustrous surface that’s glazed not once, but twice. Durable, distinctive, and authentic, the Lancaster is for those who seek an original and believe that making a statement is one they make for themselves.

Features

Heavy-duty fireclay sinks are significantly stronger than fine fireclay or vitreous china imitators, making them significantly more durable
Hand-sculpted and hand-finished
Each sink is hand-stamped by the artisan who lovingly created it. No two sinks are the same.
The Shaws® Original Lancaster Kitchen sink is the original farmhouse, apron front sink. Named for the House of Lancaster, a branch of the British Royal Family, this style has set the standard for all farmhouses, and apron front sinks.
The beautiful, high gloss on a Shaws® Sink comes from a combination of high temperature, long firing, and an abundance of glaze.
Scratch, stain, and bacteria-resistant due to non-porous surface with antibacterial properties.
Due to the ±2% dimensions, it is recommended that the cabinet maker wait until your sink is delivered to make the cabinet because no template is available. 36" minimum cabinet size.
Cleans easily with soap and water
Extended disposal flange or basket strainer required for installation
For matching wire sink grid, order WSG3318
Authentically crafted in Great Britain
