" Waterlilies, 1914 " by Claude Monet Oil Print

Rapid loops of paint, augmented by rough patches, curls and flecks of color borrow the gleam of reflected clouds to unfold into the splendor of waterlilies that have made Monet's beloved obsession world renown. Inspired by his collection of Japanese prints, Monet created a water garden in his home in Giverny, France, that was to become a work of art in and of itself and the muse for this masterpiece in particular. The authentic stretched canvas replica captures the original painting's texture, depth of color, and even its brushstrokes, which are applied by hand. It is surrounded by an imported, antique gold-toned, delicately sculpted 4" wide designer resin frame with a leaf motif. Proudly printed and framed in the USA using imported molding.
