Features
Water Filtration System: Max Water RO-DI (reverse osmosis deionization system) removes particles down to 1/10,000 of a micron effectively removing up to 99.99% of impurities after DI (deionization) stage. This includes a reduction in bad odors, lead, fluoride, chlorine, copper, cysts (cryptosporidium, giardia, Entamoeba & toxoplasma), and other metallic ions from water leaving you with clean, clear water.
Advanced filters : Max Water U - V and alkaline filters are used to purify and improve the quality of water by using a combination of U - V light and an alkaline media. U - V light is a type of electromagnetic radiation that is effective at killing bacteria, viruses, and other microorganisms, while the alkaline media helps to neutralize acidic substances in the water, improving its taste and pH balance.
Simplified Installation: Our systems are designed to help installing and maintaining them easier. Quick Connects are color-coded to make knowing how to install the system quick and easy. All filter housings are labeled for easy filter replacement.
BPA free components: Our RODI water filter system doesn't contain Bisphenol A or other toxic plastic materials. Why Max Water: We have 15+ years of experience in the water filtration industry providing solutions with a smile to millions of families across North America. Make Max Water your solution for all your filtration needs.
DI Filter - Regular maintenance and monitoring instruction. When the DI (Deionization) filter reaches its saturation point, signified by its ability to no longer effectively gather anions and cations from the residual membrane, a distinct ammonia odor, commonly known as a fishy smell, becomes noticeable. The DI filter is the first filter after the reverse osmosis membrane, coming before the alkaline and carbon filters. If the DI filter isn't working properly, the ammonia smell can spread to the alkaline and carbon filters. As time goes on, this smell can transfer to the drinking water, signaling that the alkaline and carbon filters have also reached their limits. When you start noticing a slight difference in the taste of your water or a minor bad odor in your water, it's a sign that the DI filter needs attention. If a water test shows a reading of 2 PPM or higher, it's time to replace the media in the DI filter. Regular maintenance and monitoring are important to ensure your water stays clean and odor-free. If you continue to experience a bad odor even after replacing or adding new DI media, the issue might be with the alkaline and carbon filters. In that case, it's necessary to replace both the alkaline and carbon filters as well. People typically replace it every 4 to 6 months, especially if they are using city water, have a PPM of 150, and a family of 4.
