Just put it together and so far we like it. As the instructions say, DON'T TIGHTEN THE BOLTS until you have all the bolts installed, otherwise you will not be able to line up some of the bolts. These are great! I bought two for our deck and can either combine or separate them as needed. They seem sturdy. We’ll see how they do in the Chicago snow. The wood on top does fade a bit. I had been looking for a small outdoor set and came across these chairs (table sold separately). They seemed like they’d be perfect for the space I had in mind. I wasn’t expecting much, since I didn’t need anything elaborate, but I was genuinely surprised by the quality and weight of this set. The chairs are made from HDPE, which is known for being durable, long‑lasting, and able to withstand outdoor weather. Since the spot I’m using is under my deck and gets wet when it rains, this material is ideal. The seat width is substantial, and the chairs are quite comfortable. I’m very satisfied with them.
