[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love our Kevo convert. It makes entry easy when we have groceries to carry into the house. We unlock the door in our app before getting out of the car. No more fumbling with keys. I am disappointed that our range is not better. We cannot connect to it from our living room which is only 100 feet away. We have a WiFi booster between the living room and the door, so I am a bit baffled.

This lock is great when it works but the batteries die frequently and after only 2-3 years they had to send me a new fob because the old one died. Every time there is a problem with the fob including dead battery, it falls apart and is difficult to put back together. I didn't even know that the fob had a battery or what kind because Kwikset failed to put that crucial bit of information in the instructions. Usually I have to call on a Saturday and spend hours on hold before I can get through to a cust service rep.

I you want to wait 3 minutes to unlock or to lock your door then this is the product for you! great idea but poor in timing, we got tired of waiting for this thing to open I decided to go conventional.
