Thermostatic Complete Shower System Shower Faucet with Button Rough-In Valve with 12" & 6" Shower Heads with Handheld Shower ET21050808-SB12

Features

• A thermostatic mixing valve (TMV) is a valve that blends hot water with coldwater to ensure constant, safe shower temperatures to prevent scalding. It is increasingly common practice around the world to regulate the storagewater temperature to above 60℃ (140 °F), and to circulate or distributewater at a temperature less than 50 ℃(122 °F)Water above thesetemperatures can cause scald injuries. Many countries, states, ormunicipalities now require that the temperature of all bath water in newlybuilt and extensively refurbished domestic properties be controlled to amaximum of 48℃ (118 °F). Installing thermostatic mixing valves can ensurethat water is delivered at the required temperature, thereby reducing therisk of scalding accidents; it also reduces hot water consumption from a supply that is maintained at a higher temperature.
• The Benefits of thermostatic shower system: Assures constant outlet water temperature even with variations in hot or cold water supply temperature. Allows the water heater to be operated at higher temperatures, extending the effective system flow rate and preventing the growth of Legionella. Can reduce the size/BTU requirements needed to provide capacity for peak system demands. Assures constant safe hot water temperature at the point of delivery to the fixture.
• Thermostatic Shower Mixing Valve: The thermostatic valve includes built-in check valves to eliminate water hammer noise. Its advanced cartridge maintains a temperature of 38°C (100°F), preventing sudden changes in hot or cold water pressure.
• 7 Shower System Settings: With 7 settings, you get 3 individual positions and 4 shared positions. This allows you to run each shower individually or in any combination of two or three as you like. The 3-button operation makes switching easy.
• This complete shower system can run all shower modes at the same time. The more shower modes are turned on at the same time, the corresponding water flow will decrease accordingly.
• Prevent Water Hammer: The thermostatic valve has built-in two check valves to effectively eliminate water hammer noise.
