Very quiet compared to most brands I’ve had. I do think it could be a littler cooler on max but it will eventually cooldown the room and maintain good temp after. Has a built in dehumidifier so you need to make sure you have a bucket or drain to release the water after running for a while. It’s has a nice remote to change settings and you can also do it on the unit itself. This air conditioner needs to vent so it comes with panels that attach to a window to vent the hot air it creates.
