The easy slip-on baseboard heater cover instantly rejuvenates outdated or worn-looking, yet perfectly functional baseboard heaters. Baseboarders are the only one-size-fits-most perforated steel baseboard heater covers designed to simply slip over your existing baseboard heaters. Only the original front plate and end caps need to be removed and recycled. Installation takes just a few minutes and does not require tools or professional assistance. The one-piece design is constructed from heavy-duty 22-24 gauge (0.033 in. thick) galvanized steel, engineered to withstand years of physical and chemical wear. The clean, semi-gloss white powder-coated finish can also be painted using a roller or spray to achieve a custom look. Baseboarders are considered child-safe due to the absence of exposed sharp edges and their ability to block access to the heating element from the top. They can also be installed in new construction applications or in situations where the original covers have been completely removed, leaving only the bare finned-tube heating element. End caps are sold separately. This style is not recommended for use with electric baseboard heaters.
