This was an excellent way to hide wires on our concrete ceiling making it a beautiful coffered ceiling. The material is lightweight, easy to cut with a boxcutter and takes paint great.

This is what I needed, thank you. But can this beam be stained?

Sold as part of a coffered ceiling design, we opted to use them as beams for our dodecagon (12 sided) home. Loved the end result. Was easy to cut and attach (combination of Power Grab and nailing pins). We ordered 11. 8 were perfectly straight and in excellent condition. 3 were just slightly warped. We could work with this.

This is my second order of these beams. I wanted to make sure that they were what I was looking for and they were. I love these light weight beams. I have not hung them yet but I will over the weekend since they were delivered 3 days earlier then estimated so that made me even happier.

I use the beams in my living room and I couldn't be happier I have now decided to put it in my bedroom on a smaller scale.

Don’t buy this product, it took me longer to complete my project than I was planning so now I am outside of the return / replace window and finally starting on my project and realize that the label on the product says one measurement but 1/2 of the items measure a different size so they won’t all fit together as intended. Rendering it completely useless. I am definitely not going to give them more money to buy the correct items needed, Now I am out over $1000 for my coffered ceiling. So moral of the story is if you do purchase don’t procrastinate your project and make sure to measure all the items yourself don’t take the packaging label for truth.
