About This Product

Our Solid Wood Tambour Panels allow you to create a modern look and unique texture. Our Wood Tambour Panels are easy to install and paint or stain to match your designs. Flexible backing allows the Tambour to bend around curves and corners, creating a seamless design. Since our Tambour is real wood, the material must be stretched prior to painting, staining, or coating. The material must be acclimated for a minimum of 48 hours prior to finishing.

Finely crafted in the USA from North American Hardwoods. Sanded, ready to finish with stain or paint. PRIOR TO FINISHING, material must be stretched and acclimated for a minimum of 48 hours.
Panels are typically glued up with a standard paneling/construction adhesive onto a solid substrate. Thicker profiles should additionally be held with finishing nails or braced in place until the glue cures.
Natural color and grain variation add to the depth and texture of the Tambour.
Can be stained; not ideal for painting.

Variations in wood color, grain pattern or other natural wood and stain characteristics are not considered defects and are not covered by this warranty. Pre-Finished Wood Components Fading or deterioration of finish over time is natural when using finishes and is not covered under this warranty. Peeling or discoloration caused by harsh cleaning solutions is also not eligible. Finished products can be cleaned with a cotton cloth, warm water and simple soap- free of ammonia, alcohol or any other abrasive chemical. Removal of any finish automatically shall void this warranty. Metal Components Certain inconsistencies in handmade metal products, such as welding imperfections, slight discoloration and subtle blemishes should be expected. Metal finishes may be subject to small variations in color. Brown Wood, Inc. is not responsible for color variations and cannot guarantee exact matches between among items with similar finishes.
