These placemats are very pretty, and I love the burgundy color. The linen fabric has threads in different tones that add beautiful texture and visual interest. However, they are quite lightweight, with no lining or backing, so they don't hold their shape very well. They are also a bit small for square dinner plates. In my experience, they work better as 14x14 napkins, which is how I've ended up using them.. Laura. Santo Domingo, DO. Mon Oct 05 2026

We blended the luxurious nature of linen with the softness of cotton to create a beautiful range of coordinating products in our cotton linen hemstitch collection. Each handwoven tablecloth, table runner, placemat, and dinner napkin is edged with an intricate hemstitch needlework technique that creates a beautiful openwork border. This collection mellows with age, laundering, and use, bringing a vintage, heirloom feel to each piece. The collection is machine washable for easy cleanup after dinner parties or weeknight dinners.
