These are the only stands sturdy enough to hold our tree! We started with a much flimsier one, complete fail, purchased one of these that lasted us for 25 years. Eventually the bolts rusted and we could no longer use. So we tried another flimsy one that was available locally. Once again, failure. So I searched and searched until we found this one. It’s very sturdy, great for live Christmas trees, will provide years of utility. It’s a bit heavy and takes up a bit of room to store but I would choose this one again every time.. Dusty. Eads, TN. Not only can you use an app on your phone to change colors and to blink or not, but there is a control button on the cord also. It took her less than 3 minutes to unbox these lights and have them turned on where she wanted them. There’s beautiful pastel colors to choose from. There’s red, white and blue if you’re feeling patriotic or it’s around Independence Day. There’s a beautiful sliver and white color. So many choices.
