I am a little late writing a review on this artificial tree, which arrived at my home before Thanksgiving. I immediately set it up and enjoyed it all through the holidays. I have been looking for a new fibre optic tree for a long time. This one has lots of branches and a ton of fibre optics. I have 2 issues with it, however. The fibre optics are not attached to the branches, so you need to spread them out like you do the branches, otherwise they are clumped together, and there are lots of them! The second issue is that after it is on awhile I noticed that the color changing seemed to be mostly blue and green, and very little red or other colors. Kind of odd. I will not be storing it in the original box, as it was very, very skinny. I would prefer storing it fluffed out. I also bought a stand that rotated it very slowly. Very happy with my new tree. I have been looking for a fibre-optic tree with multi-changing colors for years. The shape is very nice and with the lights it almost doesn't need to be decorated. Lost one star because the base only has 3 legs which makes it seem a little unsteady. As well, once the legs are on and the tree is inserted, it is extremely hard to take the stand off. Assembly was surprisingly simple, and the branches fluffed out beautifully with minimal effort. Even without ornaments, the tree looks elegant and high-end. My parents fiber optic tree was one of my favorite childhood decorations, and Id been looking for one forever! Found this one and Im SO HAPPY with it! Only weird thing is that the Christmas lights on it (they dont blink) are not wired to the base, and the cord for them is 6 inches long while the cord for the base is closer to 6 feet long!
