• Measure your existing unit; Wall Ovens typically come in a few common widths. For most models, however, that measurement includes a trim ring that overlaps the surrounding wall or cabinet. The part that sits inside your wall varies in size from model to model. To get the right fit, you'll need to measure the dimensions of your existing unit and the space in your wall where your new appliance will sit. Begin by measuring your existing oven. Measure the height from top to bottom, depth from front to back edge, and width of the widest section from left to right.
• Measure Your Space: First, the height from the floor to the bottom of any overhead cabinets/countertop, then the depth, leaving additional space to open the machine door, and finally, the width. Don’t forget to leave space for breathing room on each side and in the back.
