These are nice, quality chairs, but lost out to the Heitger Tufted in a comparison for kitchen table chairs. Good back support, but the flat board bottom, not suprisingly, is slightly less comfortable than the padded competition over long periods of time. But not hugely so. I'm keeping mine and may get more since their stacking capability is handy for guest expansion, and they can work well in other places that don't involve long periods of sitting like the kitchen table.
