Such a great couch!! I didn’t realize there were feathers inside until I plucked a few, but no big deal! Very comfortable and extremely easy to assemble. The storage in the ottomans is a huge plus as well as the assembly being so easy to it connects with metal pieces that screw into the legs before you screw the leg on to hold everything in place. The pillows and cushions are like the third the size of the one's shown in the pictures. Without that 2/3 fluffiness it allows no real support when sitting in it. Also, the main back rest doesn't seem very strong either. Creeks every time any weight is put on it. A bit concerning to hear with just one adult sitting, let alone thinking about it supporting three adults. The sofa can be taken apart as 5 parts to be constructed, whose frame is wood and the storage space is under the cushion seat. The cushion material over the frame is a combination of foam and individual pocket springs to provide a comfortable and supportive seating sense. Even when you sit for a long time, our sofa keeps comfort and support. Besides, there are throw pillows on the sofa back to make the sofa back fluffy and soft. If you do not like it, you can put it away. The back frame is firm actually. I assembled this myself for the gentleman for whom it was bought. One piece that should have two holes on the plate part of the bracket had one and the other hole was drilled in the wrong place. Because there wasn't an extra one, I used it anyway and hope that the one screw holds the back cushion in place well enough.
