Shipped within two hours of ordering and came in one box with materials well packaged and cushions vacuum packed. They are surprisingly comfortable. You can kind of slide down in them and get your head to rest on the back cushion, which is really nice. Cushions are zippered (they actually come off the cushions in the box, and you put them on) and appear to be washable. These look nice, and assembled easily. The arms, bottom and top are real rubberwood I think, or acacia, and so not a particle board. No hole misalignment or anything. The seat cushions were for the bottom only (my pic shows with 2 additional cushions we bought for the backs, locally). The seat cushions are not thick - maybe 1.5" A few notes though: when they screwed in the bottom wood rocking pieces, in 2 cases little bits of metal fell off and rattled around inside, I had to completely remove the wood foot thing, and jiggle until these metal bits fell out, so they would not rattle. The rattan part is not super thick. These chairs are quite "deep" and also wide so a large person could set in them, however, I am not convinced these would last long if a heavy person sat in them. They have little stoppers so you do not rock too far back, so rocking is only a slight rocking - you could take them off, but not sure if they would be safe. I view these somewhat more as decoration as opposed to long term functional, but they are nice enough for the price. The wood will require oil and re-stain if sitting in the sun, most likely..
