UPDATE 7 months later the fabric is not standing up well. It pills very easily and the back cushions are losing their shape - even though we rotate them. ___ This sofa is a great option if you’re looking for something slightly elevated on a budget. The slipcovers fit really well - my one complaint (hence the 4 stars) is that there is some drooping along the front panel of the slipcover. The fabric is lovely. It was really simple to assemble - it took 2 of us about 20 minutes. And there is a center support leg for additional sturdiness. As several other reviews have mentioned, the assembly while straightforward is a little tricky. The couch arrives in three different boxes. One box has the bench seat which contains the legs and cushions inside the bottom of it. You will need two people minimum to assemble this couch. Once you lineup, the pieces like the arm and the seat you will have to push down, but you won’t see it going in so you have to line it up really well before you start pushing it in. it’s easy to get one side in and then not get the other side in. for the first arm attachment, we stood the seat up on its end, making it easier. with two people it took about 30 minutes to unpack it and assemble it. The legs look OK but they’re just inexpensive plastic so they’re not that beautiful. You might want to replace them with custom legs. Luckily there are lots of places that sell really cool furniture legs if you want something nicer. I think the couch is very comfortable. It has a generous size seat. It is a firmer couch, but the wide arms are really comfy to lean on and it’s comfortable when you stretch out on it. It looks really great. The fabric is nice and the pillows are very high-quality. Very simple to put together. Getting the covers on the cushions was a little tricky but after doing two I figured it out quickly.To get rid of the wrinkles others have mentioned,as you are zipping the covers reach inside and adjust the cushion.Try to make sure all corners are filled. Also I bought some strips of velcro to make sure the cushions stay in place. Oh make sure you have a person help with getting the back put in. It makes it a little easier. This sofa was very easy to assemble. It took my husband about 15 minutes to assemble, with no tools needed. I especially chose that sofa for the height from the floor to top of seat cushions. It is easier to sit on and get up if you are an older person. The color is a marbleized deep red and is very neat and attractive. This sofa is probably not one you would want if you have small children bouncing on to the couch, and would not make a comfortable piece of furniture to lay on, but for people to sit on it is very comfy. The sofa is a beautiful light beige color, exactly what I was expecting. Its comfortable and works great for my needs. The assembly does take quite a while, especially if youre putting it together by yourself. One thing to note is that parts K1 and K2 were confusing because they werent labeled correctly, and the L and R labels were reversed, so I had to disassemble part of the sofa before I could continue. The sofa is a beautiful light beige color, exactly what I was expecting. Its comfortable and works great for my needs. The assembly does take quite a while, especially if youre putting it together by yourself. One thing to note is that parts K1 and K2 were confusing because they werent labeled correctly, and the L and R labels were reversed, so I had to disassemble part of the sofa before I could continue. This couch is beautiful and super comfortable. Stylish, modern and firm. I read the other reviews that said it was easy to put together. We struggled to line up holes and connect the two back pieces. I ordered it once and it had red marks. I ordered a replacement and it came with a red mark as well. Most of the mark came out with Dawn, but not all of it. Waiting on a replacement arm.
