I did A LOT of research before buying this chair, and I am happy with my purchase. It came in 1 decently packed box. The assembly took 5 minutes, and we are very happy with it so far! It is not a huge, oversized chair - but that's great because we needed something that would pair nicely with our existing living room furniture without swallowing up the room. My only concern is keeping it clean with 2 teenage boys...but we shall see. It looks like it can be spot cleaned pretty well, but time will tell. I also would've loved it be just a wee bit darker beige, but it is a nice creamy color (in pics the view from behind is more accurate color in person). It is very comfortable, and I love that it is "push back" without extra latches, pulls, pockets, or needs to be plugged in to recline. Absolutely the best (office) chair I have ever owned. What an amazing heavy duty industrial chair!!!! If you are going to buy this PLEASE read-on, there are a couple of things you need to know when putting it together. The instructions aren’t that good. I added photos to back it up. I got this for my husband who is 6’5”. 1) The foot lever that connects to the center pump needs to be pounded on to the this attached latch using a rubber mallet. At first I thought I was going to have to request a new piece but am happy I didn’t give up. 2) Look at my photos because when you attach center piece (pump) to the base you need tp make sure the Foot Lever is straight. Because once you attach it you can’t move it to straighten it out. Only the chair itself will turn. 3) The screw that you have to use to hold the Foot Lever onto the latch (even though I had to hammer it on ) was threaded BACKWARDS. I was using my power drill to try and get it to grab but it wouldn’t. First it thought it was the wrong size so when I hit reverse it screwed in. I’m not making this up! If you can get past this the chair is wonderful and so worth the frustration! Comfortable, wide, reclines nicely, attractive has a foot rest, raises and lowers, can rotate. Update. Better than anticipated! I wanted a reclining chair that was not bulky to watch Tvplay video games. The material is soft, the seat is firm but comfortable, the back cushion is even more comfortable and the head rest has enough padding too. It reclines easily and while in recline position fits my height (I’m 5ft 9in tall) where the foot rest ends about 2 inches from my ankles for me it feels good. It reclines further into almost flat, perfect for dozing off. The arm rest is rather thin, you can push into it and feel the frame quite quickly but to just rest your elbows or arms it feels ok. It’s the easiest assembly I’ve had so far very few parts. My only warning would be for taller people that want to recline on it the foot rest would end up higher on the legs and that could be not as comfortable. Overall a solid purchase.. Rafael.
