I searched for a LONG time, for a small white counter height table. I actually was searching for a table to go with the stools I bought. I know…. This seems backwards…. But I really like the stools, but the table that came with it was too large and dark. It took just a few days to arrive and was packed very well. It took just a few minutes to put together, and I did this myself. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars, is the top needs a coat of polyurethane, so it won’t scuff so easily. This table is just what we needed. Set up was not too confusing, and the look is what we wanted. It’ll fit 4 for an intimate dinner. We love its resting size. It is not too large, but boasts a large enough surface on top when all folded for a nice looking entry-way table. It is a little wobbly, but at this price point we cannot be bothered to care. You are going to need a partner, not just to carry it in, but to unpack and assemble. Give yourself plenty of floor space and time. I can't tell you how long it will take in one sitting because we worked on it over a period of several nights. It was a challenge to line things up at times, but patience and persistence paid off. The frame is metal and very sturdy. Not sure what the top is made of, but it appears to be, perhaps, some sort of a laminate. If you are tough on tabletops [like a crafter for instance] I would not recommend this. But for dining ... perfection!
