This is a nice good quality dining set. The table top arrived with a crack in it but I’m getting a replacement. It’s a very nice set. However, I regret not having purchased the version of it with the chairs just wood, without the upholstery. I had assumed that in the future the fabric on the chairs could be replaced. However, the professional who assembled it let me know that in this particular furniture it’s not possible to replace the fabric upholstery on the chairs. So, once they get dirty or old, that’s it. I think, it should be mentioned in the online description that the fabric on the chairs cannot be replaced. Also, the professional assembly fee for the set was quite expensive. (It didn’t take the professional so long to do it. I think, the assembly fee listed for it was not assessed appropriately.) In addition, the fabric on the chairs are a bit shiny looking. Table was easy to put together. Did take a few hours and two people. We made it a Sunday afternoon task. Fold down leaves are perfect and work well. Most of the time we don’t need them up so leaving them down allows for extra room in the dining area. Quality is good but the chairs do rock a little. Have gotten better from sitting in the chairs. Excellent replacement for our older dinette set (which we loved)! Sturdy, solid wood table and chairs with dropleafs at either table end for instant additional space along with two drawers. Previous set lasted for over 22 years and we expect at least the same, if not more, from this set. Assembly was easy, except for tightening the connecting bolts with the supplied Allen wrench. Hands were sore, but the build was tight when finished. If it was possible, we would take a 1/2 star off for the hand pain, but once done, it is perfect. Worth the price.. Constantine.
