This desk is very nice (I ordered 2), one was damaged in shipping and I never heard back but Ive made it work. The desk had a very strong fish smell and if the drawers are closed for a while it still comes back. But this thing is solid and looks great.. Jeffrey. Sneads, FL. Sun May 24 2026

A pull-out tray and keyboard tray expand your surface area when needed. Plus, the cabinet doors shut completely to keep your laptop and clutter out of sight when you're done for the day.

Overall, I absolutely love this desk! It did arrive with a few minor issues that Wayfair rectified. This is a solid piece of furniture. I would definitely recommend paying for the delivery and setup. The two compartments on the top lift up to open but sadly they do not lock in place to remain open, which could be a little inconvenient but there is a slow close on it so it does not slam closed. **TIP** there is a piece that covers the top so you can possibly sit items up there that is probably some type of mdf board and it probably blends in with the packaging and mine was thrown out, so just be mindful and ask for that piece. That is the only reason for the four stars.. Taji. Nanuet, NY. Fri Jun 19 2026

LOVE it! Sturdy with plenty of drawer space. The finish seems easy to scratch, though, so putting a mat or glass top down is the best move. Straightforward and asy to assemble, but time-consuming because there are lots of pieces and some are heavy.. Amy. Brawley, CA. Mon Jul 20 2026

The top is a heavy board that is edge and finger joint glued together and finished in veneer. The legs are also fingerjointed boards. It generally looks nice, but the finish is quite sloppy. there are some rough spots where it was not thoroughly sanded too. I purchased this table because it was on sale. I would not pay full price for this table based on the finish.. Krystal. Port Ewen, NY. Sun Jul 26 2026

We needed a medium sized black desk for our furnished rental that would accommodate a laptop and an extra monitor or two. This is the perfect size for our small space. Crafted from oak wood in a warm, neutral finish, this Writing Desk combines timeless design with modern functionality. Reeded accents add subtle texture, while gold hardware lends a refined touch. Two drawers provide convenient storage, and a lift-top compartment includes built-in plug-in access to keep cords neatly organized.

I’m honestly so impressed with this writing desk! The first thing I noticed was how solid it feels. It’s sturdy, substantial, and has a nice weight to it, so it doesn’t shift or wobble at all. It definitely feels like a well-made piece of furniture that we’ll have for a long time. The drawers are also really smooth and easy to open and close. Nothing sticks or feels flimsy, and they provide plenty of room for the everyday office supplies I don’t necessarily want sitting out on the desktop. I love being able to keep everything nearby without the desk looking cluttered. The finish is even prettier in person. It has a beautiful washed appearance that adds just enough character without leaning too distressed or rustic. It feels high-end, but also still relaxed and easy to work into a room. My favorite feature, though, is the hidden storage area for cable management. It gives you a designated place to keep cords contained and out of sight instead of having them hanging behind the desk or tangled across the surface. Between a computer, monitor, lamp, and chargers, cords can get messy so quickly, so this small detail makes a huge difference in keeping the entire setup looking clean. Overall, this desk is very heavy-duty and super practical for everyday use, the finish is beautiful, and the thoughtful storage details make it so easy to stay organized. I truly couldn’t be happier with it!. Anonymous. Fri Sep 25 2026
