Our solid pine cottage series desk can be used as either a desk or a vanity. The solid wood turnings and drawer front treatment emphasize the quality. Drawers are constructed using real dovetail joints and wooden drawer runners.

This is nice and lightweight but still sturdy. I love that it is solid wood. You can assemble with drawers on whichever side you choose; it gives instructions for both ways. Attractive table shape. I didn't put the 4 bottom round "feet" on, which to me seemed like a lot of weight on 4 tiny points, so I chose just to let the horizontal crossbars at the base be the points of contact with the floor. Glad I purchased it, just the right size for my space. The surface of the table is nice. The edge around it is almost shiny and exceptionally smooth. By contrast, the top feels slightly more textured (not 100% shiny) when running your hand over it. I wanted a contemporary-retro desk that would be a statement piece against the black wall and white trim in my office, and this desk is a perfect complement to that. It’s big (but not too big), has two large drawers and a cabinet, plus a modicum of hidden storage just below the actual desk.
