Mostly this is a great piece of furniture. The drawback are the manufacturers assembly instruction for the recliner are not properly detailed. Pictures are vague and incorrect, instructions are insufficient. One difficulty I have found involves the arms, they are not attached. To attach them you have two double ended bolts for each arm. Screw the bolts into the arm put the arm into the slots on the chair. Then, somehow, you need hands and arms thin enough and long enough to secure the arms with plastic knobs. My arms do not fit, I am not super buff and I am 6' tall so my hands can reach but space is limited. The position makes it very difficult to see the end of the bolt and secure the arm. I have given up trying for now. Hire the assembly option. Unless there is a unwritten trick to this, I am having trouble seeing how it is done without strain and annoyance.. Keith. Milwaukee, WI. Relax in timeless comfort with this manual recliner, featuring solid wood legs and upholstered armrests for a warm, inviting look. Expertly crafted from kiln-dried wood and built with mortise-and-tenon joinery reinforced by corner blocks, it offers lasting durability and stability. Designed for effortless manual adjustment, this recliner blends classic craftsmanship with everyday comfort—perfect for any cozy living space.

Beautiful, sturdy, and well-built recliner. The fabric and wood look exactly like the photos. It comes in two pieces and assembly is simple, but it’s quite heavy, so you’ll likely need help getting it into place. I’m taking off one star because of the packaging. The back legs aren’t protected, and mine arrived cracked. The first one I received had a completely broken leg and had to be returned. Given the size and weight of the box, this feels like an avoidable issue. The reclining mechanism is a bit stiff at first and can catch you off guard, but I expect that to improve with use. Overall, it’s an elegant chair that fits well with different decor styles. One heads-up: unpacking takes some effort. Plan for about 30 minutes, and be ready to break down a large box and a lot of packaging before disposal.. Massiel. Tampa, FL. Sun May 10 2026

Whether you desire gentle rocking, smooth swiveling, or multi-angle adjustments, our rocker recliner, swivel recliner, and manual recliner chair options fulfill all your comfort expectations.

The chairs are very comfortable and work well. I had seen comments before I purchased these chairs that the arms were low and the dimensions given also reflect this. The arms are low as I had expected, but I do not use them often and it has not been an issue. My biggest concern was the color once I received them. I had ordered light brown. These have more of a grey hue to them than brown depending on the lighting. However, they go well with the other colors in the room. So overall, I am pleased with my purchase.. Will. So, don’t get me wrong I LOVE this recliner. Its fabric is nice, thick and looks to be durable. Its color is true to the online pictures. It’s super comfortable and has plenty of cushion with adjustable lumbar support and head rest. It rocks, swivels and reclines making it the perfect comfy chair. And YES! You can rock with a slight recline. Also, the recliner feels solid which I expected with flexsteel. However, theres a couple things to note, which is why the 4 star rating. First, was that we actually ordered the hand lever version and was sent the electric version. I’m not really complaining honestly, but it’s worth noting the wrong item was technically sent. And in receiving the electric version came some of the features we loved (adjustable lumbar and head rest), but also where some of the issues come in. The buttons are not labeled and take some getting use to. They can also be a little finicky. For example. I pressed the recline button then the foot button to adjust the feet and went to adjust the back again, but it wouldn’t recline. I had to set the recliner back to default and restart the chair adjustment. Another is that the recliner does not lay flat. For me this isn’t a big issue, it’s good enough. But others may want the feature. Lastly, the slots that fit the back of the chair to the base can be difficult to get together on assembly and leave a gap at the seat back if not settled. Aside from these things though I do love the chair and recommend it!. Anonymous. Mon Aug 24 2026
