This sofa looks absolutely amazing in person and is well worth the value! I’m really happy with the overall look and feel. The only issue I ran into was during assembly. The platformbase that goes underneath the cushions doesn’t seem to sit exactly where it’s supposed to. I believe it will still be fine to sit on and use, but it’s definitely something worth noting. I also ordered the matching loveseat and had the exact same issue with that piece, so it doesn’t seem to be isolated to just the sofa. This was worth waiting for. Beautiful lines, and nice and firm. It's hard to find a new sofa that won't look anachronistic in a vintage 1930 home, but this does the trick. I love the couch and it feels amazing. It’s like sitting by on a fleece jacket yet it’s the perfect amount of firm if that’s your style. If you like more of a plush or soft couch this probably isn’t for you. It is comfortable even though it’s firm. It takes about three days to fully expand so if you unpackage it and think it’s not as described just give it time. This foam sectional is awesome. With “boneless” sofas trending on social media media, I had to give this a try. It arrived vacuum sealed in two boxes and I couldn’t imagine there was a couch inside. After breaking the seal, the couch inflated to about 90 right away, with only minor fabric looseness at the seams. After 24 hours, the sofa was fully inflated and very firm. The pieces are lightweight, but very sturdy- almost too sturdy. The couch does not have much give, but feels like it will hold up well over time. There are fasteners underneath each seat to keep the pieces from separating. It’s a great gaming sofa for my son, with loungers on each end where he and his friends can stretch out. While it’s not the softest foam, my teenagers fall asleep on it with no problem. It’s large enough for our whole family to watch a movie together, and creates a comfortable lounging atmosphere in our basement. This is a very nice couch at a very reasonable price. The cushions are firm (in a good way), and the fabric has a tight-enough weave that it'll likely hold up to pets. It appears to be solidly-built, and I would expect this to last 15+ years if you don't abuse it. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is that the condition of the sofa was not what I was expecting. I would typically not lower a review rating based on shipping issues, but I believe that the damage (nothing major but very annoying) would be likely to occur for anyone ordering this sofa based on my packaging and shipping observations. The problem is that the sofa is shipped on its legs - not palletized or with slides. Of course, there were indications that somewhere along its journey, people slid it around on its legs. It was missing 3 of 4 feet, had scuffing on the legs, and had a small tear in the underside dustcover. While I would love to have this sofa in new condition, I cannot recommend ordering it for delivery because there is too great a chance that it will arrive in less-than-new condition.
