We bought these chairs to match a set we already had previously purchased. They look fabulous. They’re easy to make and don’t take long at all. Assembly is quick with 2 people, but you’re fine on your own to assemble it too. They’re super comfortable and we purchased these becuase of the weight capacity. We’ve had this bench for about 5 years now, and overall, it has held up really well. It spent the first three years on our covered front porch, and then we moved it outside to the driveway last summer so I could sit and watch the kids play. This is now its second season fully exposed to the elements without a roof or cover. The color has definitely faded over time, but the bench itself is still in great shape. Next summer, I’m planning to stain it, and I think it will look almost brand new again. I do need to spend a little time giving it a good cleaning, but considering how much use and outdoor exposure it has had, I’m really happy with how it has held up. We did purchase a cushion for it because the bench isn’t particularly comfortable on its own if you’re sitting for a long period of time. With the cushion, though, it’s a great spot to sit and relax.
