We like these, they seem sturdy, they are a bit deeper than was expected and the gunmetal is more silver/gray than what the picture shows, but they worked great for us anyway.. Shelly. Anadarko, OK. Thu Oct 01 2026

Four matching chairs with slatted backs and a cushioned bench offer plenty of room for family meals or casual gatherings. The soft fabric upholstery on the seats adds cozy comfort across every piece. I absolutely love this dining room set! The color is beautiful, the chairs are comfy, the bench is a nice touch and the storage drawers put the cherry on top! The delivery was great, arrived over a week sooner than expected. My inly issue was the damage on ALL FOUR chairs. All in the same places. The delivery guys were careful putting it together so I don’t believe it was their fault, must have been how it was stored while being delivered. I can most likely cover it up with a wood marker. I wish it was sealed as I got a sokinter when i cleaned it for the forst time. Other than that I am extremely satisfied! Thanks wayfair! You got just what I need!. Brittany. Parkersburg, WV. The Newington Counter-Height Dining Set offers comfortable sophistication for your dining room or breakfast nook. Inspired by midcentury-modern motifs, each piece features sleek, tapered legs for an unmistakably vintage vibe. Counter-height table legs and stools are durably crafted with solid rubberwood. The tabletop is veneered MDF. The 24" counter-height stools feature linen-like upholstery in a light-gray hue, plumped with comfortable cushioning. The set includes a table and 2 stools.

As everyone else has pointed out, the assembly instructions have nothing to desire. The cushion color is more a taupe-gray. The pic isn’t portraying that. I’ll probably recover sooner than later. The wood isn’t as attractive as the photos portray - it’s not walnut looking, but more like a non-grained wood. They’re comfortable enough. We’re keeping them because I like the overall style..
