This table is wide and deep enough to have sufficient work space and also to have my computer monitors. I do however will still add a Vesa arm to extend things around for use in the office, but from the table itself, it works great already. The desk space with the drawers and spots on the side is great, one with a filing system and the others to place tall folders or diagrams are really good. The drawers are a bit stiff, but that will help it from getting too loose later on, but it still slides easily. I needed something very long over my bed for days that I’m very sick. I measured the width of my king size adjustable bed praying I would find the right overbed table. Love this desk! One of the gears does not line up super square, and there was plenty of casting sand attached to the legs. One small ding in the front of the desk top, but not a big deal to me. Others have commented that the desk does not move up & down readily. It makes me wonder if they put any grease on the worm gear. Be generous with the grease. Desk works great! I did not tighten the wood handle super tight, so it rotates in my hand when I lower the desk. I also skip it when raising the desk top. Instead I use the wheel, like on a large valve or a ships hatch. Not as convenient as mashing a button, but it goes with the style. Plenty of room for double 24” montiors. The only reason it got a 4-star rather than a 5-start review is the fact that the top is very obviously plastic. Not one of those wood looking I can maybe fool you plastics. It looks nice and is easy to raise the level from the lowest position. It is harder to lower the desk from the front however, lowering it from behind the desk, is easier. I didn’t realize it was a manual process to raise and lower the desk. Also, the desk wobbles when putting any pressure on it. Something to keep in mind is the desk comes wrapped in shrink wrap and it’s hard to remove it unless there’s a small break in the wrapping. I bought this desk a while ago and used it very successfully since. I like the way it’s designed so it can be lowered or raised quite a lot and tilted so it functions like a type of an adjustable easel for me, much better than my old drawing desk.
