This is a cute bookshelf, it has kind of a cross between traditional and boho vibe. The backing was a little difficult to assemble and line up correctly, but it worked out eventually. It is really a nice tall sturdy cabinet that worked well as an extra space in the kitchen. The ONLY problem is that the holes for the bottom shelf that attaches to the cabinet had the had wrong size bolts/screws so we had to turn it upside down to make it work. This corner unit was perfect addition to the larger bookshelf and fit just right in the corner I needed it to go. The only reason I didn’t give five stars is that it does not link to the bigger shelf. I had to ask a contractor to help plate it so it would align and stay together with the shelf. Crafted from richly grained natural wood, the Apollo Etagere features five open shelves in a minimalist vertical frame. Arched cutouts soften the edges, giving this piece transitional versatility for storage or display.

Really great tall, good looking solid wood shelf! Using as a partial room divider. Came in a single big heavy af box, be sure to be on the watch for it especially if raining because the deliverer likely won't go through the extra trouble of placing it close to your door or under a porch if it has steps. Good idea to just unpack it outside on the porch and bring it in piece by piece because the one box is too heavy to easily drag around, and unless you have a large space you'll need the extra room to assemble.. Whether used as a standalone piece or paired with other pieces from the Juiliana home office collection, this bookcase is sure to make a statement while keeping your belongings organized and beautifully displayed.

Well, I can't give a complete review yet as I have asked to return this and get a new one. This will be the 3rd delivery. The first time, one side panel was totally broken in half and the assembly guy said he wouldn't be able to do it (obviously). The second time, the inside of the back panel came with some kind of grease or heavy dirt stains (not talking about the blackish that is part of the coloring; it had some kind of marks that looked like someone stepped on it and the dirt was different in texture but didn't wipe off). The side panels on the inside also have streaks. AND it's totally unstable! I'd say maybe it's my floor but I had a bookcase in that same spot before and it didn't wobble like this one is. So I reordered it but on top of all that, it is now emitting heavy fumes! I have two air purifiers going, a fan, etc and it is diminishing. I hope it will work out. It's really hard to find a bookcase if you have space limitations and lots of books and want a sturdy, 6 shelf book case. (It says 5 shelves but unlike every other company, they are not counting the bottom shelf). On the plus side, the back of the bookcase is definitely stronger and nicer than most cardboardish/particle board bookcase backs and it is indeed a very handsome book case. The shelves seem strong. the sides look ok but if you knock on them like you would knock on a door, they sound hollow. do I think it's worth the asking price? No! But the options are limited depending on your requirements as I looked for 2 1/2 weeks full time for a 5-6 shelf bookcase that would hold hard cover books and not exceed 30-32 inches wide. We shall see. I heard three times is the charm! lol!. Deborah. Washington, Dc. Sun Nov 30 2025
