This is a cute bookshelf, it has kind of a cross between traditional and boho vibe. The backing was a little difficult to assemble and line up correctly, but it worked out eventually. It’s quite heavy and is a nice piece of furniture. The varnish applied to the mango wood scratches off somewhat easily so just be careful when assembling. Overall it’s really nice!. Amanda. This is a very sturdy, solid bookcase and fits perfectly in the small entryway to our coastal bedroom. I rated it a 4 because one of the cane panels wasn't stretched tight enough compared to the others so there was a slight bulge. Otherwise, it would have been a 5. The cane is a nice touch to complement the wood. Wayfair Customer Service has been great in resolving the issue. I also used the assembly service from Angi. Our technician did a great job, was professional and personable, was careful with all the pieces, and was on time (actually early).. Karen. Windsor, CT. Sat Jul 04 2026

These shelves are beautiful! It is solid and very well-made. Each piece was wrapped very well and without styrofoam! Which for me makes me happy because I hate pieces of styrofoam around my house. The instructions were super cute and easy to follow. Assembly was very fast. It took longer to unwrap each piece individually. It seems much bigger than I thought it looked in the picture, but it might just be my perception. I am thrilled with it and can’t wait to utilize it!. Michelle. Meridian, ID. Mon Aug 31 2026

Great product! Easy delivery- guys went above and beyond! Our driveway is difficult to maneuver, and they navigated it with a big truck with no problem!. Wendy. Tolland, CT. Tue Dec 16 2025

This solid wood bookcase brings a clean, architectural look to your space while offering plenty of room for organization. It's crafted from solid oak, showcasing visible woodgrain for added depth and a touch of organic texture. The open-shelf design allows you to display books, decorative accents, or storage baskets with ease. Its low-profile silhouette makes it a versatile addition that fits neatly under windows or against shorter walls. The stackable design gives you the flexibility to expand your storage as your needs grow. Plus, adjustable shelves let you customize the layout for taller items.

I purchased the 3-shelf size, 36" H X 48" wide. It holds my entire cookbook collection and does double duty as a divider between the foyer and kitchen/dining area. Beautiful, heavy wood in the mission style. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the backing. I wish furniture manufacturers would stop to consider that not every piece of furniture is going to be put against a wall, so it would be nice to have a decent backing. The back of this bookcase is some sort of shiny, vinyl covered panel and the color is awful. Maybe it was meant to be faux marble, but they missed by a mile. It simply looks like someone threw dirt on it then watered it!. Gloria. Exton, PA. Sat Apr 18 2026

Boasting With Display Space, The Bescott Etagere Is A Versatile And Streamlined Piece That Has A Place In Any Home. The Iron Frame Is Finished In Clean Gunmetal With 5 Shelves In White Washed Mango Wood. Distance Between Shelves Is 16".

The metal on this piece is an elegant chameleon color that will blend with lots of spaces. The grain on the wood shelves is beautiful. The materials are high quality. It’s a handsome piece with industrial appeal. Just be sure to dig around for the instructions. They are important. Otherwise it could lean both sideways AND front- or back- ways. We had to take it apart and put it back together. But again, it is an awesome piece.. Jill. West Des Moines, IA. Thu Mar 20 2025

EFFORTLESS STORAGE Designed to make a subtle statement, this bookcase blends sculptural detailing with everyday functionality. Crafted from kiln-dried solid wood, it features evenly spaced scalloped shelves that add distinctive character. Perfect for showcasing books and decor while keeping essentials tucked away, it offers easy, tool-free assembly, making it perfect addition for your living room, study, or workspace.

It is really a nice tall sturdy cabinet that worked well as an extra space in the kitchen. The ONLY problem is that the holes for the bottom shelf that attaches to the cabinet had the had wrong size bolts/screws so we had to turn it upside down to make it work. It was probably just a design flaw on this one piece. It was not enough to cause me to return because the cabinet was so nice and the ease of putting it together was so simple.. Karen. Santa Barbara, CA. Mon Aug 31 2026

Absolutely love this piece. Quality is great. We actually had it delivered with a dent in one piece and they replaced it immediately. Zero complaints. Jessalynn Heide. Northville, MI. Fri Sep 25 2026

Our wooden bookshelf is a must-have for homes with limited storage space. You can store anything from papers to ornamental pieces. Made of solid oak wood with a natural finish and MDF with oak veneer, this corner shelf is sturdy and durable. It's perfect for use as a decorative piece. This display shelf has ample storage space for displaying trophies, collector's items and photographs as well as keeping various household items like books, cups, potted plants, etc. neatly organized.

Ours is the 5-shelf version, which we use as a corner piece. The fit quality depends alot on how careful you are (it doesn't line up unless you work at it). Once assembled very solid. It is NOT very deep but we wanted a slim, shallow piece for opposite corners in our dining room, so it met our needs.. Danny. Buffalo Grove, IL. Wed Jul 01 2026

Uncluttered contrast. Built from solid wood, this mid-century-inspired bookcase ladder-like shape etagere silhouette with an open back. Four shelves provide vertical display space designed to show off your library + maximize your square footage.

Easy to put together. I like the soft color.. Iris. Westminster, CO. Mon Aug 18 2025

The San Mateo Home Office Bunching Bookcase is the perfect addition to any home office. This piece is crafted from solid hardwood with a contemporary gray or Tuscan finish that will blend seamlessly into a variety of spaces. It features 5 separate compartments for storage and organization. Its sleek design allows it to fit your decor or other pieces of furniture for a streamlined look that won't detract from other items in the room.

This bookcase was purchased to replace one that was significantly smaller. Additionally, the other bookcase was made of laminate and pressboard that was of decent quality, but didn't quite have the quality to last for the time we desired. Once we received our shipment from Wayfair and unboxed all the pieces, I could see immediately that the quality of the material was far superior to not only our previous bookcase, but also several other products we've purchased from Wayfair. The finish was smooth as silk, and the stain was evenly applied throughout. The hardware to assemble the bookcase was also of superior quality to some of the cheap packs that arrive with other D-I-Y assembled products. NOTE: This product can be assembled by one person, but it would be much quicker and easier with two (or three if you're like me with two eager-to-help young 'uns). One of the trademarks of solid wood furniture is the weight of the finished product. This one indeed was heavy. Granted, non-solid wood furniture can be heavy, but if any of it is light, you can be assured the quality is slight! All in all, we are very pleased with this product and would highly recommend it.. Adam. Hallsville, TX. Tue Apr 07 2026

This wooden bookcase is crafted from oak and exudes a rustic charm, making it a timeless addition to your study or living room. This elegant bookshelf is crafted from solid oak wood that makes it durable and sturdy. The robust wooden shelf requires minimal maintenance, and the beautiful texture of the wood gives it a rustic charm. With a simple yet timeless design, the bookshelf can also be used for displaying decorative items, photo frames, etc. Warning: In order to prevent overturning, this product must be used with the wall attachment device provided.

The bookcase itself is very nice, but some holes didn't line up when putting it together. Also the top portion and the bottom portion do not line up flush across the front. They are offset from each other. I did not see anything explaining that the pegs that hold the shelves are made of plastic. I have bought other bookcases that use pegs to set the shelves onto, but they are metal.. Jane. Warren, OH. Sat Jun 27 2026

Beautiful cabinet! Very solid piece and looks more costly than it is. Well worth the 8 hours it took to put together. :) We added it to a spare bedroom used as a workout room/reading room. It has plentiful storage for hiding and organizing things you don't want out in the open, while still having a nice space to display those miscellaneous collectibles one acquires on trips abroad. The light feature has 2 different temperatures (cool/warm) which elevate the entire piece. We store our board/card games in the cabinetry/drawers as well as craft supplies, small photoshoot props, office supplies, etc. The height is impressive! I haven't styled the glass shelves yet. I'm not certain they could handle heavy/abundant dishware like the website photos show if using in a kitchen/pantry setting (specs will note shelf max weight).. Anonymous. AZ. Sat Jul 04 2026
