Unfortunately, this couch was not what I expected based on the photos. There was no product description or previous reviews available when I purchased it, so I was relying almost entirely on how the couch was presented in the pictures. The couch appeared plush, soft, and comfortable online, but in person it is extremely firm and not nearly as plush as it looks. The material is also much rougher and less soft than I expected. Another disappointment was the construction. The height of the arm rest was very low, and the frame of the couch was not sturdy. The photos made the couch appear more seamless, but once it arrived i noticed there would be sections/joints, just from the size of the box it was brought in, and it was, in fact, a jointed couch. Since there was very little information available before purchasing, I took a chance based on the photos, but unfortunately the actual couch did not match my expectations in terms of comfort, material, or overall appearance.. I am absolutely obsessed with this couch! Very comfortable very high-quality and all of the features are amazing! I would say the only one thing I don’t like about. It is the fact that it is electric and it has to be plugged in in the house that we are currently in, we have to float our couch rather than putting it up against the wall, so we have to tuck it underneath the cord which of course leaves a hump, which is a nuisance, but hopefully at our next house that we will be moving too soon we will be able to put it up against the wall! This is my first "adult" couch and it's perfect! Delivery was relatively easy. They brought it into my apartment building and up the elevator. They were having trouble getting it out of the elevator and into my apartment and I was very grateful not to have to do it myself. The automatic call was very accurate and the men arrived 25 minutes after it (they said within 30 minutes). The men were a little hard-handed with the couch and I thought they may damage it but it proved very sturdy. It comes fully assembled so all I had to do was attach the legs. You definitely need 2 people to do this (just to set the couch on it's side carefully and then lift it up again). The couch is a bit still but will break in. The dark color is TRUE BLACK, just like other reviews said. It looks like it could be grey in the pictures but it is 100% black. It will be hard to keep white lint off of it but will hide any mishaps with food or drink. The bottom pillows can come off and are kept in place with velcro. The back pillows are attached. The legs are solid wood and are dark brown. The couch is long enough to fit someone of 6 feet without having to scrunch. Overall I am impressed with the quality of the couch for the price. Wayfair is also great with customer service. I had read in another review that the couch had been deeply discounted after they ordered and they were able to get money back. I kept my eye on the listing every day after order and sure enough, it went down $11. I waited out for more but eventually called to see if I could get the difference. I was extremely nervous and felt like I was being silly asking for it but the woman didn't ask any questions and immediately said that they will respect any price changes in your favor up to 7 days after delivery..
