These chairs look exactly like the photo online and feel sturdy and comfortable. When I got the box, it was secured with this strange red tape and didn’t seem fully sealed, and some of the wood pieces had visible scuffs and chips. However, when I finished putting them together, those chips weren’t noticeable. The chairs were very easy to put together and didn’t require any additional tools. I recommend these chairs!. Giovanna. The table and chairs are very good quality but the table is not black as described. I contacted customer support before I purchased the table to ask if it was black because the picture makes it look dark brown/espresso. They assured me it was black but it is definitely dark espresso as shown in the picture. The chair legs however, are black. I still really like the table so I am keeping it.. Kristen. Beaverton, OR. Okay so it is absolutely gorgeous. But it is a picture of the wood color on top of basically really heavy plywood. The seats and bench and legs of the table are solid wood very sturdy. The bench is screw on legs where the chairs you had to do a few more steps. Which were easy. You do need a power tool to put the chairs together. The packages mg could have been better but I was lucky that it didn’t get damaged even though some of the boxes came shredded. I knew it was going to take a few weeks to ship and it actually came a few days earlier than expected. It comes in 5 boxes so if you think you’re missing something make sure you have all the boxes first. Really happy with the purchase. Wish it was true solid wood but the plywood or type of wood is really heavy and solid with the printed wood finish is done really well so I’m still happy with my purchase. Hope this helps.. Julie.
