I couldn’t find any good sectionals for under 1k, so this was a good deal for us ! Took us about an hour to put together. The directions don’t clarify certain things (the pieces to anchor the inner sections together have multiple size holes directions don’t reflect what goes where). We did get one screw that was the wrong size but other that it was pretty straight forward. I’m sitting on it about 19 hours after setup and the cushions have almost doubled in size. It’s nice and firm but still soft enough for you to sink in. It did not have a smell or anything which is great. The chaise pieces slide around on our hardwood floor, but with some grippy tape on the bottoms of legs, they stay put. The legs are plastic but not cheap feeling. So far it’s wonderful and it’s BIG!! I waited a week after opening the package before anyone sat on the couch to give it full time to expand. It is at least 2.5 inches shorter in seat height than described. The back of the couch height is at least 3 inches shorter than the described height. The seat is surprisingly firm but the back of the couch is low that if you sit back quickly without the larger cushions you could feel it on your back but still comfortable overall with the larger cushions.. Day 1 review, first time owning a “boneless couch.” I love the modularity and the different configurations. The material feels great and the color is true to the picture. I still need to give it time to fully expand after being compressed, but my initial concern, on a hardwood floor, is that there isn’t much grip on the bottom of each cushion. They slide around quite a bit. A rug seems necessary to give it more traction. My other concern is that the back won’t give enough support. Im going to be honest, when it first arrived I was super disappointed. It looked like it was going to be small and none of the measurements were adding up. HOWEVER, after I got the entire couch out, and started letting the cushions plump with air, I was pleasantly surprised. Its very comfortable, not too difficult to put together, and COMPLETELY customizable, which is where I was super thrilled. Every piece can be moved to any part of the couch youd like.
