okay love how the couch came out! I had a family friend build this and it took him a couple hours alone. I would say it was relatively easy. however the pillows are flatter than i assumed, they don’t have much structure to them in terms of laying on them , but that makes sense with them acting as the “back board”. I would recommend adding some pillows to lounge on instead of these. The comfort of it is alright, still kinda stiff feeling but i’m hoping when i use it more i’ll kinda break it in. I couldn’t find any good sectionals for under 1k, so this was a good deal for us ! Took us about an hour to put together. The directions don’t clarify certain things (the pieces to anchor the inner sections together have multiple size holes directions don’t reflect what goes where). We did get one screw that was the wrong size but other that it was pretty straight forward. I’m sitting on it about 19 hours after setup and the cushions have almost doubled in size. It’s nice and firm but still soft enough for you to sink in. It did not have a smell or anything which is great. The chaise pieces slide around on our hardwood floor, but with some grippy tape on the bottoms of legs, they stay put. The legs are plastic but not cheap feeling. So far it’s wonderful and it’s BIG!! My husband is 5’11 and I added a photo of him on couch right after assembling. Photo with AirPods on it is next morning, you can see cushion growth already.. Anonymous. Thu Sep 10 2026

The seat is surprisingly firm but the back of the couch is low that if you sit back quickly without the larger cushions you could feel it on your back but still comfortable overall with the larger cushions.. Day 1 review, first time owning a “boneless couch.” I love the modularity and the different configurations. The material feels great and the color is true to the picture. I still need to give it time to fully expand after being compressed, but my initial concern, on a hardwood floor, is that there isn’t much grip on the bottom of each cushion. They slide around quite a bit. A rug seems necessary to give it more traction. My other concern is that the back won’t give enough support. We love the new boneless couch! It expanded and within 48 hours it was ready to go! Super comfortable and color was spot on.
