we have received the sofa yesterday and I somehow did not like how it smelled or looked. I have been a big wayfair shopper for a while and this expensive sofa is not a good experience. I felt like I received an used sofa barely brushed and sent it over. For an expensive caracole furniture it is definitely not what I expected. there was hair strands stuck in the inner lining and some patches of hand prints and couple of marks where I felt it was washed. A beautiful, well made sofa. The fabric is luxurious and soft to the touch. The stitching and construction details are on par with much more expensive furniture. It is not so clear from the photos and description but the moveable “armrests” actually are the arm and back rests. Adjusting one side back, the sofa can transform effectively into a sectional with a “chaise lounge” configuration, or into a bed if you put back both sides, all without changing its’ footprint. With the armrests in the forward position the sofa is extremely comfortable with very comfortable seat depth. The change is very easy to do. The cushion is on the firm side, but very comfortable. Although this sofa was a little pricey for an online purchase, it is replacing an extremely expensive high end brand name sofa I bought that was more than 4 times the price.
